HR in St. Nicholas

The Human Resources area within St. Nicholas is responsible for implementing HR programs and policies, and every aspect of employee relations. Within a shared service model, HR professionals provide services to the two St. Nicholas campuses (Pinheiros and Alphaville), concentrating their efforts both on department operations and on direct assistance to employees and providing support to leaders. Operations include the various processes characteristic of the area: Staffing (local and international outsourcing), Employee Development, Reward, Health and Safety, Internal and External Relations, Payroll & Data Management HR System, Overseas Employment Management.


HR Analysts job entails providing a comprehensive administrative support to day-to-day operations of human resources ensuring the efficient delivery of recruitment and selection, hiring, onboarding / induction, training and development, employment relation activities, occupational health and safety, benefits administration. HR Analyst liaises closely with Pinheiros and Alphaville Heads, Office Secretary, Finance and accounts department and other departments throughout the organization providing a customer focused and effective HR support service to the organization to achieve the organization goals and objectives.

This is a generalist position that will be held with the support of other HR members, but which encompasses different processes, with the need for diversified technical skills (HR processes are interconnected, but have their specificity), as well as competencies to be able to advise leaders in their roles in people management. Despite the generalist nature of the position, the most complex challenge for this post lies in the process of attracting people, applying current recruitment techniques, and promoting Employee Branding.

You will bring:

– A depth and/or breadth of understanding and experience in recruitment and selection processes. Experience in outsourcing techniques and desirable certification in tools for selection (such as personality inventory, competency-based interviews, etc);

– A basic knowledge and understanding of own profession sufficient to handle standard/routine work; follows standard methodologies and procedures; has the basic technical skills required for day-to-day work;

– Effective problem-solving skills;

– Competent keyboard skills to produce accurate and well presented reports. Able to present information in forms, tables, and spreadsheets;

– Should be an effective communicator verbally as well as through writing skills;

– Should be committed to diversity and equality culture;

– Ability to operate under pressure;

– Medium proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet Explorer;

– Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets;

– Graduation level (preferably in Psychology);

– Advanced English level for speaking and writing;

– Passion and enthusiasm and a belief that everyone can learn;

– Curiosity, humility and a desire to learn;

– Additional qualities to add to the school community.

Working hours for administrative employees are: 07:45 to 17:30
